Accelerated Therapy Intensives in Massachusetts & Maryland

Make months of progress in a matter of days—without spending years in traditional talk therapy.

You are busy, highly capable, and tired of spending 50 minutes a week barely scratching the surface before the clock runs out. If you’re ready to get to the root of burnout, overthinking, and nervous system exhaustion without dragging the process out for months, an intensive was built for you.

Focused trauma processing for meaningful emotional change.

Traditional weekly therapy models assume you have the luxury of infinite time to chip away at old wounds. But if you are a busy professional, a first-gen high achiever, or someone managing chronic burnout, trying to fit trauma recovery into a random 50-minute block on a Tuesday feels like a logistical corporate heist.

You may already understand your history intellectually. You can analyze your childhood patterns like a corporate case study, and you know exactly where your high-functioning anxiety comes from. But knowing your trauma isn't the same as healing it. Your logical brain knows you are safe, but your nervous system is still operating in survival mode.

Our EMDR & Brainspotting Therapy Intensives create the dedicated, concentrated space needed to move beyond talk therapy insight and experience true, somatic emotional change. By bypassing the weekly stop-and-start cycle, we give your brain the extended time it needs to completely process stuck trauma and find lasting relief.

What Trauma Therapy Intensives Can Help You Work Through:

Why Weekly 50-Minute Sessions Feel Like an Uphill Battle

In standard weekly therapy, the first 10–15 minutes are often spent catching up on your week, and the last 10 minutes are spent winding down so you can get back to work or family obligations. That leaves only 25 minutes of actual deep work.

When you're trying to shift deep-seated survival patterns, high-functioning anxiety, or generational pressure, that 50-minute container can feel like opening a drawer, peeking inside, and slamming it shut before you can organize anything.

The Intensive Advantage:

    • Deep Momentum: Extended, uninterrupted time allows your nervous system to fully drop out of fight-or-flight mode and settle into real processing.

    • Efficient Healing: Achieve what typically takes 3 to 6 months of weekly therapy in a focused 1-day or multi-day retreat setting.

    • More Deep Healing: We don't spend hours analyzing every painful memory. Using gentle somatic approaches like EMDR & Brainspotting Therapy, we help your brain release emotional weight safely and efficiently.

Who Therapy Intensives Are Designed For

Intensives are a high-impact, focused option tailored for adults in Massachusetts and Maryland who want deep results without adding another weekly appointment to their calendars.

    • Driven Professionals & First-Gen Adults: Whether you are navigating high-pressure careers in corporate, tech, or medicine, or carrying the weight of being the first in your family to build wealth and success. Intensives offer efficient, concentrated care for busy adults of all backgrounds. (Learn more about my work with First-Gen Professionals and Black Women & BIPOC Adults).

    • Clients Trapped in Over-Functioning & Boundary Fatigue: If you are exhausted from carrying everyone else's needs, managing chronic perfectionism, or finding yourself stuck in the same people-pleasing and relational dynamics, an intensive gives you uninterrupted space to get to the root of these patterns.

    • "Intellectualizers" Stuck in Their Heads: If you can analyze your past logically, understand your triggers, and map out your story on a timeline—but your body still responds with high-functioning anxiety, heart palpitations, tight shoulders, or chronic rest-guilt—an intensive bridges the gap between what your brain knows and what your nervous system feels.

How Our Accelerated Trauma Retreats Work

During an intensive, we utilize extended, multi-hour blocks to work with advanced neuro-experiential approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting.

Because your brain isn't interrupted by a ticking 50-minute clock, your nervous system can safely access deeper subcortical structures where trauma is physically stored. This allows us to:

  • Accelerate the Desensitization Process: Move through multiple interconnected layers of a core belief system in a single day.

  • Integrate Somatic Shifts: Give your body the actual physical time to settle, rest, and experience true regulation before you go back to your day-to-day routine.

  • Maximize Financial & Emotional Investment: Eliminate the months of administrative "catch-up" conversations that stall traditional therapy.

  • How the Intensive Process Works

    Step 1: Free 30-Minute Consultation

We meet virtually to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and ensure an intensive is the right clinical fit for where you are right now.

Step 2: The 90-Minute Assessment & Prep Session

All intensives begin here. We spend 90 dedicated minutes mapping out your nervous system, identifying internal parts, and building somatic resources. This guarantees you feel completely safe and prepared before your intensive day.

Step 3: Your Custom Intensive Experience

We dive into targeted processing during your scheduled 3-Hour Session, 2-Day Shift, or 3-Day Retreat.

Step 4: Integration & Ongoing Support

Real healing happens in the integration. We follow up with a dedicated integration session and determine your next steps—whether that's moving into ongoing 90-minute weekly/biweekly therapy or taking space to process independently.

Personalized Intensive Options & Custom Pricing

Every intensive is a highly tailored experience designed around your specific career schedule and pacing needs. All intensives begin with a comprehensive 90-Minute Assessment & Resourcing Session ($350), where we map out your history, identify target memories, and prepare your nervous system for deeper processing work. This assessment fee is applied directly toward your chosen intensive package. Payment plan options are available.
